There is a lot of information on the web on bootable USB sticks and multiboot for harddisks. You only have to find it. Sounds easy, but turns out to be hard. I am creating this overview to help people with the same problem.

I used to have a 3,5″ floppy at hand, that did all the tricks. Not anymore.
